“I had a great time with my private surf lessons booked through the Nancy Emerson School of Surfing on Maui. The process for scheduling was incredibly easy and painless. Nancy provided an immediate and very personalized response to my request. We had the opportunity to discuss what my goals were and my level of experience and level of physical fitness. In anticipation of the lessons, Nancy provided good advice on preparation and some simple exercises to get the ball rolling early. My instructor was Sasha. She was fantastic. She’s an experienced surfer and has a background in education so her instruction was clear, focused and easily understood. Her relaxed and cheerful style was so perfect for calming nerves and building confidence. I highly recommend her as well as the school for surfing instruction and will likely use their services to teach my children when they are ready!”
